Top colleges and what it takes

Two main routes into school teaching straight after Class 12: the 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP: BA/B.Sc/B.Com + B.Ed), which admits on the NTA's NCET score at IITs, NITs, RIEs and central universities (no closing scores are published centrally), and DU's 4-year B.El.Ed (for primary teaching), which admits on CUET-UG through CSAS. DU figures are official round-1 minimum allocation scores (General/UR, DU CSAS 2025).
