What are the best career options after 12th apart from doctor, engineer and CA?
India offers more than forty good routes after Class 12. Design, architecture, law, management, research science, data, humanities and economics, and quieter doors like nursing, teaching, hotel management and agriculture. Most accept any stream, several cost far less, and many pay well: top law graduates report medians of about 17 to 19 lakh, and a government nursing officer starts at about 10 lakh.
What can a PCB student do apart from NEET?
Design, fine arts, animation, law, management, humanities, research science through IISER and NISER, the IIT Madras online BS in data, and study abroad all accept PCB. Health routes like nursing, pharmacy and physiotherapy, and veterinary science through NEET-UG, are open too. With Mathematics as well, architecture, economics and statistics open.
Which courses after 12th do not need maths?
Design (B.Des through UCEED, NID DAT and NIFT) needs no maths and no minimum marks. Law through CLAT, most humanities degrees, fine arts, animation, psychology, journalism, hotel management and CA all accept students without Class 12 Mathematics. Without it, architecture, economics and statistics close.
Which are the cheapest good degrees in India?
Some of the cheapest seats are also the hardest to win. ISI is free and pays 5,000 a month; a BA at top Delhi colleges costs under 30,000 a year; public art colleges charge a few thousand rupees a year; Delhi University’s BMS costs under 1 lakh; CA costs about 50,000 in fees to ICAI; the IIT Madras online BS costs about 4 lakh in total.
Is coaching compulsory for entrance exams?
No. Coaching is optional for every exam in the book, and Kota’s student numbers roughly halved in 2024. Past papers, timed practice and the official sample tests go a long way.
When are the 2028 entrance exams?
Forms open from September 2027, tests run from December 2027 to June 2028, and the CBSE boards sit in the middle, from mid-February to early April. December and May are the busiest months. Every 2028 date is a projection, so confirm each official notice.
